McConnell Youth Literature Conference

The McConnell Youth Literature Conference In Celebration of Anne McConnell was a wonderful experience yet again! I love meeting new people and learning more about some of my favorite authors and illustrators. When I return to work I always return with stories to share about the hows and whys of certain titles. This year presentations were given by Susan Campbell Bartoletti, Loren Long, and Cari Best to name a few. On Sunday I attended the 2007 May Hill Arbuthnot Honor Lecture presented by Kevin Henkes. The lecture was great...it did make me miss my "home". :)
